COMMITMENT

Antarctica21 is the leader in this fast-growing segment of Antarctic tourism, constantly developing and innovating our programs and operations. Antarctica

Today, the Antarctic continent, without doubt, is the most mysterious place on the planet. Its permanent ice sheet covering and almost completely hiding its topography

A land that holds 90% of Earth’s ice, Antarctica stuns visitors with its awe-inspiring beauty. Enjoy peaceful bays dotted with colossal icebergs; cruise along deep fjords and see massive glaciers.

“Antarctica has this mythic weight. It resides in the collective unconscious of so many people, and it makes this huge impact, just like outer space. It’s like going to the moon.”                                                                                                                                                                                                       Jon Krakauer Writer & Mountaineer

Cape Horn

This remote island at the tip of South America is a rare destination for the adventurous traveler. A visit here is the stuff of legends.

There is a novelty to being at the end of the world. Set in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago of southern Chile—in a land rife with ancient glaciers and home to the world’s southernmost kelp forest.

The Falkland Islands (Las Malvinas)

The Falkland Islands are in the heart of the South Atlantic Ocean and host to an impressive array of wildlife.

The islands were once attached to the African continent, leading to theories that the archipelago’s flora and fauna arrived through dispersal.

About South Georgia

Set in the South Atlantic Ocean—southeast of the Falkland Islands

South Georgia rises steeply from the sea, forming a crescent-shaped landscape abundant in glaciers and sheer, rugged peaks believed to once be part of the greater Andean range of South America.

About Magellan Explorer

Magellan Explorer is a new and modern expedition vessel custom-built for our Antarctic air-cruises to the latest Polar Code specifications.

Magellan Explorer has capacity for 73 guests accommodated in seven categories of accommodation, including dedicated single cabins. Most cabins have two twin beds that can be configured as one queen-size bed.

About Hebridean Sky

Hebridean Sky is a small, all-suite expedition vessel. The ship was built in 1992 and refurbished in 2005. In 2016 the ship underwent an extensive, multimillion-dollar renovation that transformed it into one of the finest small ships in the world.

Hebridean Sky accommodates 75 passengers. The ship offers a classically elegant base for adventurous exploration in Antarctica. Suites in eight different categories of accommodation are spacious, with premium appointments throughout.

About Ocean Nova

This ship was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail the ice-choked waters of Greenland. It has a strengthened hull that is ideally suited for expedition travel in Antarctica.

For our air-cruises, Ocean Nova has capacity for 67 passengers accommodated in comfortable outside cabins. The ship offers three categories of accommodation: dedicated Single Cabins, Twin Cabins, and Triple Cabins.
