Luciana Cherques, a native of Brazil, is an expert in the history, culture, and geography of South America. 

She started her career as a Tour Guide in Rio de Janeiro, a practice that exposed her to different cultures and enabled her to communicate and create bonds with many different people across the globe.

Since she moved to New York in 1996, Luciana’s worked for some of the best tour companies in the  US,  such as  LATOUR  and  Central  Holidays designing and operating customized programs with a focus on Luxury FIT and Groups, Heritage Travel, and Affinity Groups.

Traveling is about discovering, experiencing different cultures, interacting with new and interesting people, exchanging experiences, de-stressing from day-to-day life, and breaking routines, it is also a journey within oneself. Often, my clients tell me how they come back transformed and reinvigorated. So, whether you are looking for an ecological adventure in the Amazon forest, a villa in the trendy and chic Trancoso, or a celebrity-style stay in Rio de Janeiro, I am committed to providing flawless, lifetime experiences.

My passion is everything about food. The nitty-gritty, how it’s made, where it originated, and the value it has to that culture.

For as long as I could remember, I have always been told that when I speak of food, they have never seen someone speak with such passion. It truly brings me great happiness, and I hope to share this pleasure of mine with many other foodie lovers.
